EPA has recently completed the development of EPA PMF 4.0 beta and the program has been provided to selected receptor modeling experts for application testing. The application testing will identify changes that need to made to the software as well as provide input on the user guide.
We will be using a blog to facilitate communication during the application testing.
The EPA PMF 4.0 software will be updated following the testing to address comments. A formal peer review will be conducted in the spring and a final version of the software and user guide will be posted on the EPA website in fall 2010.

Unfortunately I just now noticed your blog ... last post was from 2009 and do not know if this blog is still active.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, today, in March 2012, EPA has not yet released an official version of the PMF 3.1, not to mention the version 4.0.
I'm interested in, whether you work on a new version of the PMF near completion, compared to 2009?
Suggestion?
My only suggestion is to introduce a new version in a choice of correlation ... to my knowledge in Pearson correlation was used ... Why could not have been elected and such Spearman 's correlation to better describe nonlinear systems?
